 At WoundCARE, LLC, we focus on evidence-based treatment options that assist in the goal of wound healing. Chronic wounds require an attentive treatment regimen to optimize the potential of healing and preventing further complications. We have been in wound care for over 21 years and know the challenges patients and facilities face in searching for the best options of care and outcomes. Our treatment regimens encompass gold standard care that starts with listening and evaluating the history of the wound and patient, prior treatments, diagnostics as indicated, addressing the underlying comorbidities and creating an appropriate treatment regimen with a goal in mind. Even though healing a chronic wound is the goal ultimately there are at times patient situations that may not encompass a healing goal, but we don't stop there...we work with you to accommodate for an alternative.

Our Clinic and Long-Term Care Nursing Facilities

• We have two clinic locations currently in Corydon and seen by appointment. One location is located in shared space with Salsberry Clinic, LLC at 515 East Marion Street, Corydon, IA 50060.
• On a case-by-case basis we will consider home visits if needed.
• Our team can come to the patient in the facility if needed once we accept a facility on our list.
• Once intake evaluation completed a goal with treatment options is discussed
• The facility and the client residing in facility, along with client's designated representative when appropriate are welcome at weekly facility rounds by WoundCARE, LLC team.
• WoundCARE, LLC provider assigned to facility rounds at the facility on a scheduled weekly interval and as needed more often upon arrangement.
• Our team utilizes an array of evidenced-based treatments for wounds including, but not limited to:
  • Sharp Debridement
  • Compression Wraps
  • Wound Vacs
  • Skin Substitute Products of the Organogenesis portfolia
  • Specialty Dressings
  • Diagnostic Ordering
  • Additional Specialist Referrals When Indicated
• Available During Facility Inspections Upon Arrangement
• Utilize Specialty Wound Care Electronic Medical Record System
  • Allows for prompt sharing of provider-client visits
  • Allows for documentation of care for additional care team members such as, facility staff and client's primary care provider
• Billing performed by WoundCARE, LLC to client's insurances that we are credentialed with: Medicare, RR Medicare, Medicaid Iowa, Medicaid Missouri,  Iowa Total Cares, Molina, Wellmark BCBS of Iowa, United Health Care, Aetna, Cigna/Midland, Health Partners, Humana, , Amerigroup and additional in progress.
